Account Types and Roles

Understand wallet, master, and investment accounts and the Copy Trading, PAMM, and MAM roles.

For clients

B2COPY organizes your money into three kinds of account. Understanding the difference makes the rest of the interface easy to navigate.

Wallet, Master, and Investment Accounts

AccountWhat it is
WalletA holding account for your funds. New accounts start as a wallet; you fund it and transfer money out to your trading accounts.
MasterAn account that shares a strategy. Other clients follow or invest in it, and the master earns fees.
InvestmentAn account that follows a master — it copies the strategy or invests into a PAMM/MAM pool.

Roles: Copy Trading, PAMM, and MAM

Each master and investment account belongs to one of three products. On first login (and whenever you create or convert an account) you choose from six role options:

MAM MasterManage multiple investor accounts with a single trading strategy.
MAM InvestorAllocate funds to a MAM manager and earn from their trading performance.
PAMM MasterPool investor funds into a single account and distribute profits proportionally.
PAMM InvestorInvest in a PAMM pool and receive a proportional share of the manager’s profits.

Where You See Your Accounts

The Dashboard (and each product’s My Accounts page) lists your accounts grouped by Wallet, Master, and Investment, with the balance and quick actions for each.
