What is the best gift for Christmas? 26% of Aussies are convinced that digital currencies “under the Christmas tree” would look great.
Crypto.com questioned 2020 Australian citizens, from 18 to 59 years about their attitude towards digital assets. More than a quarter of respondents stated they are going to purchase crypto-related presents for Christmas.
Which digital assets are loved the most by Aussies? The respondents prefer to buy Bitcoin and Ethereum foremost, the two leading currencies, according to their market capitalization.
What’s even more interesting: the crypto trend becomes more popular among the Australian population. More than 43% of Aussies are interested in buying hoodies or socks with crypto themes. Coin vouchers and books about digital assets are in-demand as well.
Australia is among the most crypto-progressive countries. The September survey disclosed that 17% of 18+ Australians hold digital assets and 9% more are going to purchase cryptocurrencies in the near future.
65% of Aussies believe that Bitcoin will eventually be transacted more widely than traditional currency.
While talking about gender distribution, men are still more evident crypto-supporters: 23% of all Australian men prefer to hold digital currencies. As for women, the current rate is just 11%.
