Investors can trade manually on an investment account while subscribed to a master strategy, provided two conditions are met.
When manual trading is possible
The broker allows it
Manual trading must be permitted on investment accounts by the broker.
There is free margin
The investment account must have enough free margin to open personal trades.
Subscribing does not lock up the whole account. Only the subscribed amount participates in copy trading — the remaining balance, if any, can be used for manual operations, subject to broker permissions and margin availability.
Confirm with the broker
Always confirm whether manual trading is allowed on investment accounts used for copy trading before relying on it.
