Default fee settings

Set starting fee rates and periods for new masters, and control which fees they can offer in the Client Portal.

Для администраторов

Default Fee Settings supplies the starting rates and periods for the fee form during master setup in the Client Portal. Configure it independently for Copy Trading and PAMM. A master can keep those values or choose a different plan within the fee types, periods, and maximum values you allow.

Availability

The Default Fee Settings tab is available on platforms that use the Client Portal. Open Copy Trading → Settings → Default Fee Settings or Pamm → Settings → Default Fee Settings in the Admin panel.

Defaults and limits are separate settings

Where to configureWhat it controls
Product → Settings → Web UI Settings → Fee SettingsWhich fee types a master can offer in the Client Portal, their allowed periods, and their maximum values.
Product → Settings → Default Fee SettingsThe starting rate or amount and period shown during master setup when the account has no saved fee plan.
Settings → FeesPlatform-wide calculation rules for Performance and Management fees. See Platform fee calculation.

Entering a default does not turn a fee type on. For example, a default Performance Fee of 25% becomes available in the master’s form only when Performance Fee is enabled in that product’s Fee Settings.

1. Choose the fees masters may offer

  1. Open the product’s Fee Settings card

Go to Copy Trading → Settings → Web UI Settings, or the same page under Pamm, and find Fee Settings.

  2. Enable the fee types

Turn on the types masters may offer. These switches save immediately. Disabled types are unavailable in the Client Portal’s fee-plan form.

  3. Select Edit and set the periods and maximum values

For recurring fees, choose the allowed Periods. Set Max Value, %, Max Value, $, or Max Value, $/Lot for Trade Fee wherever you want a ceiling. No Limit means you have not set a broker maximum for that type.

  4. Save the periods and maximum values

These choices control the master’s form. Repeat for the other product if you use both.

2. Set the starting rates and periods

  1. Open Default Fee Settings for the same product

Keep the defaults consistent with the types, periods, and maximum values you just configured.

  2. Enter the starting percentages or amounts

Use the fields below. Enter 0 for a fee you do not want to charge initially; its availability is still controlled separately in Fee Settings.

  3. Choose Period for recurring fees

Choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly from the periods you allow masters to use. The Admin panel also lists Never; the Client Portal’s fee form offers the allowed Daily, Weekly, and Monthly choices.

  4. Select Save

The saved values prefill master setup when the account has no existing fee plan. Saving here does not create or replace a master account’s plan.

Keep defaults within your limits

Use a default rate no higher than its Max Value and a period allowed in Fee Settings. The Default Fee Settings form does not check those separate limits. A default above the maximum must be corrected before the master can save it in the Client Portal.

What the master can change

During setup, a master with no saved plan starts from your defaults. If the account already has a plan, the form uses that plan instead. Later, the master can open their account’s Settings → Fee Plan, select Change fee plan, and save different values with Save fee plan. The form shows the enabled fee types, offers allowed periods, and checks the maximum values.

This master’s saved Performance Fee is 10% Monthly. The editable maximum is 55%, although the broker’s starting default is 25%.

What investors see and which subscriptions change

Investors see the master’s saved fees on the strategy’s statistics page before subscribing. They subscribe on the master’s plan, which may differ from your starting defaults.
