Early withdrawal fee for PAMM

Set a lock-in period as a master, review the terms as an investor, and understand when PAMM applies the fee.

Für Clients

Early Withdrawal Fee is an optional PAMM fee that a master can charge when an investor withdraws during a defined lock-in period. The fee is a percentage of the withdrawal amount and is withheld when the request is processed.

Before you start

The broker must enable Early Withdrawal Lock-in for PAMM. If the feature is hidden, the fee section and investor disclosure do not appear in the Client UI.

Set the fee as a PAMM master

  1. Open the fee plan form

Open your PAMM master account, go to Settings, and choose to create or change the fee plan.

  2. Set the lock-in period

In Early Withdrawal Fee, enter a whole number in Lock-in period (days). It cannot exceed the maximum set by the broker.

  3. Set the fee

Enter Fee (% of withdrawal). The value must be greater than 0 and less than 100.

  4. Save the new plan

Set both fields together. Leave both empty when you do not want this fee in the plan.

In the Client UI, fee is 0 or at least 100The value is rejected. A configured fee must be greater than 0 and less than 100; leave both fields empty to disable the fee.

A fee plan is fixed for the subscription

New fee-plan terms apply to new subscriptions. Existing investors keep the plan they accepted until they unsubscribe and subscribe again. Promo codes can select a different plan with their own Early Withdrawal Fee. Lowering the broker’s maximum lock-in later does not rewrite published plans or existing subscriptions.

What an investor sees

When the selected plan has this fee, the master’s public Statistics page shows the summary when the broker has enabled both Early Withdrawal Lock-in and the Fee Plan option in the Statistics settings. The subscription flow also shows a summary such as Early withdrawal fee: 3% if withdrawn within 20 days after the first successful deposit. The same terms remain visible in the subscription details.

No fee estimate in the withdrawal confirmation

The transfer and unsubscribe confirmations do not calculate or display the final Early Withdrawal Fee. The fee can only be determined when the queued PAMM request is processed.

When the fee is charged

  • The lock-in starts with the subscription’s first successful deposit, not when the subscription is created.
  • Later deposits do not restart or extend the lock-in period.
  • The same calculation covers partial withdrawals, full withdrawals, and unsubscribe withdrawals when there is a processable withdrawal amount.
  • B2COPY checks the lock-in when the withdrawal is processed at rollover, not when the request is submitted.
  • If the lock-in has expired before rollover processes the request, no Early Withdrawal Fee is charged.

Partial settlement may need reconciliation

If a withdrawal settles only partially or the settled net amount differs from the expected amount, B2COPY does not automatically pay the master the full calculated penalty. The fee remains available for manual reconciliation so the investor is not overcharged.

Subscriptions created before this feature are exempt

An existing PAMM subscription created before this feature release and lifecycle migration does not start a lock-in when the investor makes another deposit. The investor must unsubscribe and create a new subscription before a configured fee can apply.

Example

An investor requests a withdrawal of 1,000 USD while a 3% fee applies. If 1,000 USD is the final processable amount and rollover processes the request inside the lock-in, the fee is 30 USD and the investor receives 970 USD. Amounts are rounded to the currency precision of the investment account.

A zero-amount unsubscribe

If an unsubscribe has no processable withdrawal amount, PAMM can complete it without creating an Early Withdrawal Fee calculation. This is different from a normal partial, full, or non-zero unsubscribe withdrawal.

After rollover

A PAMM master can open Requests → History and compare Requested, Early withdrawal fee, and Processed. The investor’s executed-requests table does not show a separate Early Withdrawal Fee column; use the disclosed fee-plan terms and the final processed amount to understand the result.
