B2CONNECT Introduces Cleaner Connector Setup, Smoother FIX Onboarding, Clearer Ops Feedback

B2CONNECT January Release.png

Running crypto liquidity at scale requires tools that stay reliable under constant change. Building on our recent derivatives expansion, this B2CONNECT release sharpens the operational workflows your team relies on every day across liquidity setup, FIX onboarding, and ongoing operations.

As a crypto liquidity hub, B2CONNECT helps you connect, manage, and route liquidity without interruption across your trading infrastructure.

What’s new in this release:

  • Configure trading symbols directly inside Incoming Connectors.
  • Use FIX credentials that follow common industry naming expectations.
  • See clear, human-readable error messages during connector setup.

Let’s explore the new capabilities.

Incoming Connectors: Symbol Management Where You Configure Liquidity

Incoming Connectors with a Trading Settings tab.png

Incoming Connectors now include a Trading Settings tab that lets you manage symbols directly inside the connector. Admins configure symbol availability and trading parameters in the same place where the liquidity connection itself is set up.

This workflow matters when operation teams onboard a new liquidity provider or adjust symbol coverage during live operations. Instead of switching between Hub settings and connector pages, admins complete configuration in one continuous flow.

Incoming Connectors: Clear Error Messages That Help Teams Act

Incoming Connector pages now show clear, human-readable error messages instead of raw technical responses. Your operations team immediately understands what went wrong and which configuration step needs attention.

The interface now explains common setup issues, including:

  • FIX credential validation failures.
  • Attempts to enable trading for symbols that are disabled at the Hub level.

Clear error messages help you resolve issues faster and reduce dependency on support escalations.

Improved FIX Credentials for Smoother Go-Live

B2CONNECT updates FIX credential generation to better match widely used FIX naming conventions. SenderID and TargetID values now fit seamlessly into third-party FIX engines and trading platforms.

This update simplifies FIX onboarding when counterparties apply strict validation rules to session identifiers. Credentials integrate more smoothly into existing FIX stacks, minimizing additional configuration and manual wrangling.

No Leading Underscores in SenderID and TargetID

Generated FIX identifiers no longer start with leading underscores. Some third-party applications restrict or mishandle session IDs that begin with special characters, which can interrupt session establishment during validation.

Together, these changes remove a category of issues that often appear late in onboarding. You cut down setup iterations and bring new FIX connections live with clearer timelines and fewer surprises.
