Transaction comment formats

Decode B2COPY comments for fees, subscriptions, transfers, PAMM allocations, and copied positions.

Клиенты и администраторы

B2COPY-generated entries usually follow the short patterns on this page. You can see them in the trading platform’s Comment or Notes field for balance operations and copied positions; administrators may also see the same text in B2COPY transaction views.

What this reference covers

This page explains comments generated by B2COPY. Comments created manually or directly by the trading platform can use different formats.

How to read a comment

Starts withType of comment
-PF / +PF / -TFFee charge or payout; other fees use the same signs with their own codes
+PRTPartner fee-share payout
-DW or +DWDeposit, withdrawal, or internal transfer
subs or unsubSubscription relationship change
-UNSUBPAMM unsubscription settlement
p|@PAMM profit allocation
# or &...#Copied position
  1. Match the beginning

Use the table above to find the comment family. For money movements, - means funds leave the account and + means funds arrive.

  2. Read the operation code

For example, PF means Performance Fee, DW identifies a transfer, and subs records a subscription.

  3. Read the remaining fields

The rest of the string identifies related accounts, positions, or an operation reference. Symbols such as #, @, $, and & separate special fields described below.

ExampleMeaning
-PF|41002|A Performance Fee leaves the investment account; 41002 identifies the master.
+PF|62015|88427|A Performance Fee payout is received for investor 62015; 88427 links it to the charge.
subs|41002A subscription to the other account in the link is recorded. This is not a money movement.
-DW|wallet01Funds leave the account for wallet01.

Fee comments

The two-letter code identifies the fee. For calculation rules, see the Fee list and Early Withdrawal Fee for PAMM.

Code or modifierMeaning
PFPerformance Fee
RFProfit Fee
MFManagement Fee
SFSubscription Fee
JFJoining Fee
TFTrade Fee
EWEarly Withdrawal Fee for PAMM
PRTPartner fee-share payout
ADCollection of accrued fee debt; follows the fee code on a charge

Copy trading, MAM, and PAMM formats

OperationCopy Trading and MAMPAMM
Regular fee charge-XX|<master>|-XX|<master>|<investor>|
Trade Fee charge-TF|<position>|<master>|-TF|<position>|<investor>|
Fee payout+XX|<investor>|<reference>|+XX|<investor>|<reference>|
Partner fee-share payout+PRT|<investor>|<reference>|+PRT|<investor>|<reference>|

A fee charge appears on the investment account in Copy Trading and MAM. PAMM uses a combined pool, so related fee entries can be reflected on different sides of the master–investor relationship. The payout can differ from the charge when account currencies differ or part of the fee is paid to a partner.

Partner fee shares and separate IB rebates

+PRT|... identifies a partner share paid during fee distribution. An IB rebate transferred separately follows the standard deposit-side transfer format +DW|<source>|<reference>.

Accrued fee debt

When previously accrued fee debt is collected, AD follows the fee code on the charge. For example:

Copy Trading or MAM: -PF AD|<master>|
PAMM: -PF AD|<master>|<investor>|

The same layout applies to other debt-capable fee codes. A Trade Fee debt collection can omit the original position because it collects an earlier shortfall. The matching fee payout keeps the regular credit format, such as +PF|<investor>|<reference>|; it does not add AD. Learn when debt is created and recovered in Mechanism for deducting accrued fee debt.

Subscriptions and unsubscriptions

ActivityFormatMeaning
Subscribesubs|<counterparty>Records the subscription on the enabled side of the link.
Unsubscribeunsub|<counterparty>Records the unsubscription on the enabled side of the link.
PAMM unsubscribe settlement-UNSUB|<master>|<destination>Identifies the master and the wallet or payment destination used for settlement.

Subscribe and unsubscribe markers have a zero amount

subs|... and unsub|... create a record of the relationship change. They do not move money. Depending on the broker configuration, the marker can be written on the master account, the investment account, or both.

Deposits, withdrawals, and transfers

OperationFormatMeaning
Withdrawal side-DW|<destination>Funds leave the source account for the destination.
Deposit side+DW|<source>|<reference>Funds arrive from the source; the reference links this entry to the withdrawal.
PAMM withdrawal-DW|#<destination>Funds leave a PAMM account or pool context.

The exact identifier in each field depends on which side of the transfer you are viewing. The <reference> appears on the incoming entry and identifies the related outgoing operation.

PAMM profit-allocation comments

p|@<master>|#<master position>|

This comment connects an investor’s PAMM allocation to a position on the master account. @ introduces the master account and # introduces the master position.

The entry recorded when the allocation opens can show a zero amount, because the result is not known yet. The entry recorded when the position closes carries the realized result, which can be positive or negative.

Copied-position comments

Copied positions use their own comment format. These are position comments, not balance-operation comments.

ConfigurationBase formatOptional part
With a setup identifier&<setup>#<master position>|<master account>$<part>
Without a setup identifier#<master position> | <master account> &<part>

The optional <part> value distinguishes partial opens or other deal parts that belong to the same master position. For example, &12#550012|1001$3 and #550012 | 1001 &3 both identify part 3; the spaces belong to the format without a setup marker. On platforms with position identifiers too long for the comment field, shorter numeric identifiers can appear instead.

Values inside comments

FieldWhat it identifies
<master>The master account.
<investor>The investment account.
<position>The related master position.
<reference>The operation reference that connects related entries.
<destination>The wallet, payment account, or other destination.
<setup>An optional setup identifier used in some platform configurations.
<part>One part of a position opened or processed in several parts.
XXAny fee code from the fee table.

Identifiers can look different

Depending on the trading platform and configuration, a comment can contain account logins or shorter numeric identifiers. Their purpose in the format remains the same.

Optional setup markers

Some platform setups add &<setup> directly after a balance-operation code. For example:

-PF&12|<master>|<investor>|
+DW&12|<source>|<reference>
-UNSUB&12|<master>|<destination>

The marker distinguishes the setup used for the account. It is optional, so otherwise equivalent operations can appear with or without it. In copied-position comments, the marker appears at the beginning instead: &12#....

Older and shortened comments

  • Older investor-side PAMM fee records can contain two separators after the fee code, for example -PF||.... This is not a separate fee type.
  • Older PAMM deposit records can name both sides of the pair with #, for example +DW|#<master>|#<investor>. New deposits use the standard +DW|<source>|<reference> form.
  • Trading platforms limit a comment to 31 characters. If the full value is too long, fields at the end can be removed.
  • A configured Balance Deals Mask can add text before or after the standard B2COPY comment.
  • A shortened comment can end with one or more | separators or omit fields that normally follow them. Decode the fields that are present rather than assuming the operation is different.

A shortened comment can omit trailing details

Do not treat a missing final field or separator as proof that two entries are unrelated. Check the operation type, account, amount, and time as well.
