Profit Summary and Profit Factor

Read realized P/L, best and worst days, and what the Profit Factor means.

For clients

The Profit Summary and Profit Factor describe the quality of a trader’s profits — not just how much they made, but how efficiently.

Profit Summary with realized P/L and max daily profit and loss, plus Profit Factor
Profit Summary and the Profit Factor breakdown.
  • Realized P/L — total realized profit or loss.
  • Max Daily Profit and Max Daily Loss — the best and worst single days.
  • Profit Factor — total profit divided by total loss. Above 1 means the strategy makes more than it loses; the higher, the better (for example, 2.75).

A large Max Daily Loss relative to Max Daily Profit can reveal hidden risk even when the overall return looks strong.
