Set Up the Platform for the First Time

Configure the products on your platform before clients sign in.

للمسؤولين

Use this page when the Admin panel has been handed over, before clients sign in. Configure the products on your platform: Copy Trading, Mam (MAM), Pamm (PAMM), or a combination. Open only those. Skip a product that is not on your platform. How the three differ is in Copy Trading vs PAMM vs MAM.

What Is Already in Place

You receive an Admin panel address and an administrator email and password. Sign in with those, not with a client trading login. See Sign in to the Admin panel.

  • The trading servers are already connected. The Admin panel has no screen for adding a server.
  • The sidebar includes Clients, Copy Trading, Mam, Pamm, Settings, Admin Management, and Security Settings.

Two Places Called Settings

Settings inside Copy Trading, Mam, or Pamm changes only that product. The top-level Settings group changes the whole platform. A switch you set for Copy Trading does not change Mam or Pamm.

1. Secure Your Admin Login

Open Security Settings. On Change Password, fill Current Password, New Password, and Confirm Password, then select Next. The new password must be at least 8 characters and include 1 upper-case letter, 1 number, and 1 special character from the set shown under the field: !@#$%^&*()-_}{.+.

Then open Two-Factor Authentication and finish it for this account, using Set up two-factor authentication.

2. Check the Product Catalog

Open Settings → Product Settings. This list is the account kinds the platform can create. It is not Copy Trading → Settings.

Each row is one account kind on one trading platform, such as MT4 or MT5. For every product you use, the matching rows should be Enabled and should list the currencies you actually trade. Copy Trading needs the Copy Master and Copy Investor rows. Mam needs Mam Master and Mam Investor. Pamm needs Pamm Master and Pamm Investor. Payment Account is the client wallet when the platform uses one.

Open a product row. On Currencies, each currency has Enabled, Set as Default, Platform Group, and Require wallet to create account. Clients can open an account only in a currency that is enabled. Set as Default is the currency offered first, and that currency has to stay enabled. Platform Group is the MetaTrader group new accounts in that currency join — use a group already reserved on the trading server. When Require wallet to create account is on, the client needs a wallet before that account can be created. If EUR is missing, add it on this currency list. Select Create on the product list only when an account kind you use is absent.

3. How Fees Fit Together

Fees are set in three places. They do different jobs.

  • Settings → Fees — how the platform calculates performance fee and management fee, for every product. Do this first.
  • Web UI Settings → Fee Settings, inside the product — which fee types a master may offer, and the highest rate allowed. A type that is off cannot be offered.
  • Default Fee Settings, inside the product — the starting rate and period. A master can later save a different plan, but only for types you left on, and only up to the maximum you set.

Example: Performance Fee is off in the product’s Fee Settings, so masters cannot offer it at all. Turn it on, and Default Fee Settings supplies the starting percent. Settings → Fees still decides whether that percent is taken from closed profit only, or from closed profit plus open profit.

Open Settings → Fees and select Save after the dropdowns match what finance agreed. Worked examples are on Platform fee calculation.

Settings Fees page with Performance Fee formula, trade fee accounting, and Management Fee formula
Settings → Fees applies to every product you use.
ChoiceWhat it changes
Performance Fee → Based on sum of float and realized PnLClosed profit, plus the profit and loss of trades that are still open.
Performance Fee → Based on realized PnL with floating lossClosed profit, and only the losses on trades that are still open.
Performance Fee → Based on realized PnLClosed profit alone.
Trade Fee Accounting → Exclude trade fee from calculationThe trade fee is ignored.
Trade Fee Accounting → Consider trade fee as lossThe trade fee counts as a loss before the performance fee is charged.
Management Fee → Based on BalanceThe cash balance. Open profit and loss are not included.
Management Fee → Based on EquityThe balance plus open profit and loss.
Period → % / yearThe master’s rate is an annual rate.
Period → % / periodThe rate applies once each payment period.

4. Configure Each Product You Use

Open Copy Trading → Settings, Mam → Settings, or Pamm → Settings, and only for the products you use. Finish one product before the next. Copy Trading and Mam use the same tabs. Pamm has no Link Positions tab. Link Positions is a repair tool for an existing subscription. Skip it during first setup.

Copying on Copy Trading and MAM

On Trading Settings, the General Trading Settings card is how a copied trade starts and ends. Each switch saves as you change it.

General Trading Settings card with copying switches for new investors, resubscription, and unsubscription
General Trading Settings for Copy Trading. Mam has the same card under Mam → Settings.
  • Open positions for new subscriptions — choose whether open master positions are always copied, never copied, or selected by each new investor. Copy Trading and MAM have separate policy values; see Choose whether to copy open positions.
  • Copy only losing positions — copies only trades that are currently losing, so the client’s entry can differ from the master’s.
  • Copy on resub — a client subscribes again after leaving. On: the master’s open trades are copied again. Off: they are not.
  • Copy only new on resub — applies only when Copy on resub is on. Copies only trades that were never copied to this client before.
  • Keep positions on unsub — the client unsubscribes while copied trades are still open. On: those trades stay on the client’s account, and the client has to manage them. Off: the platform closes the copied trades at unsubscribe.
  • Copy only matching price group symbols — copies a trade only when the instrument name matches exactly.
  • Copy positions to read only accounts — allows copying onto accounts that can be viewed but not traded.

The Balance Operations card does not move money. Pamm has the same card. Its two switches write a zero-amount deal, commented subs or unsub, on the master account, the investor account, or both, so a report can see that a subscription changed. Leave both off unless your reports need that marker.

Rollover on PAMM

Pamm does not copy trade by trade. Trading Settings is the schedule for when the pool accepts money in or out. Select Edit to change it. These values are what new Pamm master accounts start from.

PAMM General Trading Settings with allocation method, rollover type, schedule, rollover time, and freeze time
Pamm → Settings → Trading Settings. Select Edit to change the schedule.
  • Default PAMM Allocation Method — how a client’s share of the pool is adjusted when money moves. The value on the card is the method new PAMM accounts start with.
  • Default Type of Rollover — Manual runs when the owner of the Pamm master starts it. Scheduled runs by itself at Rollover time. Rollover schedule pattern is how often that time repeats.
  • Rollover Settings for Client — which of Scheduled and Manual the owner of a Pamm master can use.
  • Freeze time before rollover — the minutes before rollover when a new deposit or withdrawal no longer enters this rollover. A request sent inside the freeze waits for the next one. How links and rollover behave is in PAMM links and rollover.

Account Settings Inside the Product

Open Copy Trading, Mam, or Pamm, then Settings → Account Settings. This tab decides whether clients may create accounts in that product. It is not the global Settings → Product Settings page, where currencies and platform groups are set. Turn a role off and clients cannot choose it, including on first login. Admins can still create accounts when their group allows it. Create new investment accounts, Create new master accounts, and Allow multiple subscriptions for 1 master account from the same user save as soon as you change the switch. Select Edit and then save only for the number fields and the password type. Field by field for Copy Trading and Mam, this tab is in Account Settings. Pamm uses the same tab, with two differences: it does not show Max number of active subscriptions for 1 investment account, and it adds Default Investor’s Positions Visibility, which chooses what a PAMM investor sees of open and closed trades. That PAMM page is PAMM product settings.

Account Settings card with create-account switches, unlimited checkboxes, subscription limit, and password type
Account Settings for Copy Trading. With Unlimited checked, the max-account fields stay empty. Pamm hides the subscriptions limit.
  • Create new investment accounts and Create new master accounts — off means only an admin opens that kind of account. Unlimited removes the per-client cap. A number you type must be from 1 to 1000.
  • Allow multiple subscriptions for 1 master account from the same user — off means one client cannot subscribe to the same master twice.
  • Max number of active subscriptions for 1 investment account — how many masters one investment account may follow at once. Copy Trading and Mam only. Pamm does not show this field.
  • Password type sent to investor after password reset — Master Password is the trading password: whoever has it can open and close trades. Investor Password is view-only. This chooses which of those is sent when an investor password is reset. It does not change an existing password by itself.

What Clients Are Allowed to See and Do

The product’s Web UI Settings tab is the client screen for that product. Copy Trading, Mam, and Pamm each keep their own copy. It is not the platform page Settings → Web UI Settings in the next section. The cards, in the order they are built:

  • Show on Leaderboard — which figures appear on the public list of masters, such as account age, country, and assets under management.
  • Fee Settings — which fee types a master may offer, and the highest rate. Set this in the next section.
  • Risk Ratio Settings — Copy Trading only. Whether an investor can see the risk ratio on a subscription, and whether they can change it inside the range you set.
  • Show on Statistics page — which charts and numbers a visitor sees on a master’s statistics page before subscribing.
  • Show on Leaderboard & Statistics Page — figures that appear in both places at once.
  • Account Properties — the deposits and withdrawals button, the minimum-deposit field a master fills in, and password reset. On Copy Trading, also whether the client connects an account they already have or receives a new one.
  • Account creation consent document — the checkbox before a new account. Leave it off until the document is ready. If both the PDF and the URL are empty, the client checks a box under words that open nothing. The two consent controls are in Client terms acceptance.
  • Social media — which public links a master may add to their profile.
  • Subscription Options Settings — what an investor can do with a subscription: pause copying, close a copied trade, change allocation, and see the master’s balance or equity.
  • Show on Trading Report — which columns appear in the trade report.
  • Default master’s positions visibility — how much of a new master’s open and closed trades the statistics page shows.

Two examples. On Show on Leaderboard, turn off Assets under management (AUM) and the public list no longer shows how much money is following that master. On Subscription Options Settings, turn off Pause Copying and the investor cannot pause copying from their subscription.

Every switch on these cards is in Product Web UI settings. Show Payment Account selection in Client UI, on the platform Web UI page, lets a master choose which account receives their fees: Let masters choose their payment account.

Fees on the Product

On the same product, open Web UI Settings → Fee Settings. Turn on only the fee types a master may offer. Pamm also has Early Withdrawal Lock-in here. For each type you turn on, set Max Value (%) or Max Value ($). Without a maximum, a master can save a plan at any rate. What each fee type means is in the Fee list. The fields on this card are in Product Web UI settings.

Then open Default Fee Settings. Enter the starting percent or amount and a Period of Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Never, then select Save. This is the plan a new master starts from. A master can later save a different plan, but only for fee types you left on, and only up to the maximum you set. It does not replace a plan already saved on an account.

5. Payment Accounts, First Login, and Wallets

In the version without B2Core, open Settings → Access Settings. The card title is Range of payment accounts. From - To is the login range the platform may use for payment accounts. Allowed MT groups for payment accounts lists the MetaTrader groups whose accounts can sign in to the Web UI. Accounts outside those groups cannot open the client interface. Take both values from the trading-server setup already reserved for payment accounts. The Admin panel does not create those groups. Select Save.

Settings → Access Settings. The login range and the groups that can sign in.

Then open Settings → Web UI Settings. Profile, Account Onboarding, and Wallet Accounts are on this page in both versions.

Platform Web UI Settings with Profile, Account Onboarding, and Wallet Accounts cards
Settings → Web UI Settings. The role dropdown appears only after Skip account role selection on first login is on.
  • Profile — hide email, name, or communication language on the client’s own profile. Hiding the language row does not change the interface language.
  • Account Onboarding — while Skip account role selection on first login is off, the client picks a role. Turn it on when every new client should land in one role. Example: turn it on and select CopyTrading Investor when new clients should start as copy investors and never see the role screen. For Copy Trading and Mam, the client’s payment account itself takes that role and keeps the same account number, so the product must allow that conversion. For Pamm, a separate account is opened and the payment account stays as it is. Leave the switch off when clients should choose. A product role appears in the list only when that role is enabled on the product’s Account Settings. What each role does next is in Assign an account role on first login.
  • Wallet Accounts — Allow clients to add Wallet Accounts lets a client register an existing trading account as a wallet. Allow clients to convert payment accounts lets them turn a wallet into a Copy or Mam account. Turning either switch off does not remove or convert accounts that already exist.

In the version with B2Core this page also has Widget → Registration URL. The widget is the Leaderboard block embedded on your site. Leave Registration URL empty to hide the sign-up link inside that block. The version without B2Core does not show that card.

6. Symbol Names, When They Differ

Do this before clients subscribe, and only if master and investor accounts use different instrument names, such as EURUSD on one server and EURUSD.fix on another. Open Settings → Symbol Mapping. No data available under Auto-Mapping with Suffixes and Manual Mapping means nothing is mapped, so only identical names copy. If every server uses the same names, leave both lists empty. See Symbol mapping.

7. Email

Open Settings → SMTP Settings and enter the host, port, username, password, encryption, and sender your mail provider gave you. Send from Name is the name clients see. Select Test Connection and wait for a successful test, then select Save. The test does not save the form.

If the page says templates are missing, open Go to Templates. On Email Templates, use Generate Templates when the list is empty, then read Subject and Body of each message you will actually send before it is enabled. Do not put mail passwords in a ticket or a screenshot.

8. The Rest of the Team

Open Admin Management → Groups. A group is the set of screens an operator can see. Create an admin group, then set what that group may do in Configure group permissions. Then Create an administrator in that group. Do not share the first login.

9. One Test Before Real Clients

Sign in to the client interface with an internal test client and check what you just configured:

  • First sign-in either asks for a role or skips it, matching Account Onboarding.
  • A role you turned off under Account Settings does not appear.
  • A new master can offer only the fee types left on, starting from Default Fee Settings.
  • A password-reset email arrives from the sender you saved.
  • On Pamm, a deposit inside Freeze time before rollover does not enter the current rollover.

Pages such as Copy at MA Price, Synchronization, Menu Settings, Trade Fee Filter, and Hub Account Rules are for a specific later problem. They are not part of first setup.

Side Auth in the Version Without B2CORE

In the version without B2Core, clients can come in from your site already signed in, without typing the B2COPY password again. Open Settings → Side Auth. If Secret Key is empty, set one and save. Copy Secret Key and Redirect URL: your site uses those two values to open the client interface. The page is described in Side authorization, and the request your site sends is in Seamless authorization.

See How the Leaderboard Looks

Trading Robots run a strategy on a master account on their own. Open Trading Robots, start one on a test master, then open the Leaderboard. You see the same card a client would see: the name, the result, and the way in to follow that strategy. How to open a robot is in Trading Robots. Whether that test master is published is set on the master account, in Make your account public or private.
