Pause and Resume Copying for a Subscription

Stop copying new positions without unsubscribing, then reactivate the link later.

For admins

You can pause an active copy-trading or MAM subscription from the Admin panel — copying of new positions stops, but the subscription itself stays alive — and resume it later.

PAMM subscriptions can’t be paused — funds in a PAMM pool are always allocated to the manager’s trading.

What Pausing Does

  • New positions opened on the master account are no longer copied to the investment account.
  • Positions that were already copied stay open and close when the master closes the originals.
  • Fee payments continue according to the subscription’s fee plan.

Pause Copying

  1. Open the links list

Expand the Copy Trading or MAM menu and go to Links. Make sure you are in the correct platform instance.

  2. Pause the link

Click the Actions button () on the right of the subscription row and choose Pause Copy.

  3. Confirm

Confirm the action in the popup. The link keeps the Subscribed status but is marked Paused in the corresponding column.

Resume Copying

  1. Find the paused link

On the Links page, locate the paused subscription.

  2. Activate it

Click the Actions button () in its row and choose Activate Link.

  3. Confirm

Confirm the action — the status changes from Paused back to Active and new master positions are copied again.

The Links grid — each row’s ⋮ Actions menu holds Pause Copy / Activate Link.

The current pause state is also visible on the link details page — the Pause field in the Allocation Parameters card. Investors can pause their own subscriptions in the Web UI; see Pause and resume copying in the user guide.
