Use Max Followers to cap how many real, active subscriptions a single master account can accept. The setting is configured separately on each master and applies to Copy Trading, MAM, and PAMM.
What counts as a follower
Only subscriptions currently in the Subscribed state count toward the limit. Virtual followers and subscriptions that are no longer Subscribed do not use a place.
Set the Limit
Open the master account
In the Admin panel, open Masters for Copy Trading, MAM, or PAMM, then select the master you want to configure.
Open Properties
On the master detail page, select the Properties tab and find the Max Followers card. The card also shows the current number of active followers.
Edit Max Followers
Enter a whole number, or clear the field to leave the master unlimited.
Save
Save the card. The new capacity is used for the next subscription or resubscription attempt.
| Value | Result |
|---|---|
| Empty | No follower limit. This is also the default for existing masters. |
| 0 | The master accepts no new subscriptions. Existing followers remain connected. |
| 1 or more | New subscriptions are accepted until the real active-follower count reaches the value. |
Setting a value below the active count
The Admin panel warns: Below the current {count} active followers — existing followers are kept, only new subscriptions will be rejected. Saving is still allowed. Existing subscriptions stay active, but no new place opens until the count falls below the limit.
What Clients See
Below the limit, the usual Follow or Invest action is available. At the limit, the action is replaced with Full and the message Not available for new subscriptions on the leaderboard and master statistics page.

The Followers number displayed on the leaderboard can include virtual followers. It is not the capacity counter: Max Followers uses only real subscriptions in the Subscribed state.
When the platform allows only one subscription to this master per client, an existing follower keeps the View account action even when the master is full. If additional subscriptions are allowed, the leaderboard action changes to Full at capacity; the client can open the existing subscription from My Accounts.
The last available place
Capacity is checked again when a subscription is submitted. If another client takes the last place first, the request is rejected with This master account is not accepting new followers right now.
How a Place Becomes Available
A place becomes available only when a subscription leaves the Subscribed state. Copy Trading and MAM links stop counting when unsubscription starts. A funded PAMM allocation can remain Subscribed until its withdrawal is processed, usually at rollover; a zero-balance PAMM subscription can end immediately. Pausing a subscription does not free a place. The client leaderboard updates on its next data refresh, so a static page can continue to show Full for about 30 seconds.
Links Created by an Admin
The Admin panel’s Create Link form does not hide or disable a full master in advance. The same capacity check still runs when the form is submitted, so a new link is rejected when the master is full. The create modal shows its standard link-creation error rather than the client-facing Full message.
