A subscription code is a per-account access key. When one is assigned to a master account, investors must enter the code before they can view the account’s trading statistics or subscribe to it — regardless of how they found the account.
How a Code Changes What Investors See
| Master visibility | Behaviour with a subscription code |
|---|---|
| Hidden from the Leaderboard | The account does not appear in the Leaderboard at all. Investors can still find it by searching for the account number, but must enter the code to open its statistics or subscribe. |
| Visible on the Leaderboard | The account appears in the ranking as usual, but investors must still enter the code to open its statistics or subscribe. |
Every master account gets its own unique code — codes are generated by the platform, not typed in manually.
Generate a Code
Open the masters list
Expand the Copy Trading, PAMM, or MAM menu and go to Masters. If you run several platform instances (MT4, MT5, cTrader), check the instance switcher in the upper-left corner first.
Open the account details
Click the account number in the Account Login column.
Find Accessibility Properties
On the Properties tab, scroll to the Accessibility Properties section.
Generate the code
Click Generate Code. The new code appears in the Subscription code field.

Share or Remove the Code
- Copy — copies the code to the clipboard so you can hand it to investors.
- Delete — removes the code; the account becomes accessible again without a code.
Combine a subscription code with Show in client UI turned off (Privacy Properties) to run a fully private, invite-only strategy. Masters can also manage their own code from the Web UI — see Share access with a subscription code in the user guide.
