If your MT Manager holds several account groups (say, Standard and Pro with different spreads), you can let clients pick one of them when they create master and investment accounts in the Web UI — instead of every account landing in one default group.
The choice is powered by product groups and products configured on the management side of the platform: each product maps one MT group to one visible option in the account-creation flow.
Product Group Types
| To offer… | Create product groups of these types |
|---|---|
| Copy Trading accounts | B2COPY master account and B2COPY investor account |
| MAM accounts | MAM master account and MAM investor account |
| PAMM accounts | PAMM master account and PAMM investor account |
One product group is needed per MT group and role. Example: to expose the Standard and Pro MT groups for copy trading you create four product groups — master/Standard, master/Pro, investor/Standard, investor/Pro.
Create the Product Groups
Open group creation
In the management console go to Products → Groups and click +Create.
Fill in the group
Pick the Type from the table above, enter a Caption (this exact name is what clients see as the option — make it meaningful, e.g.
Copy Master Standard Account), add a Description for internal use, and set Status to Enabled.Save and repeat
Click Save, then repeat for every group/role combination you want to offer.
Create a Product per Group
Open product creation
Go to Products → Products, click Create, and select the platform.
Map the MT group
In Platform Group, select the group from your MT Manager. In Name, enter the internal product name. In Group, select the product group you created above. Set Type to Trade.
Configure the product
After saving, open the edit page: set Status to Enabled, enter the Caption, list the Leverage ratios clients may pick and the Default leverage, set matching Rights and Default account rights, and cap Max accounts per client (
-1= unlimited).Save and repeat
Click Save, then repeat for each product group.
MT5 gotcha
For MT5 platform groups, make sure the Use default volumes option is disabled for the selected group in your MT Manager — otherwise volume settings clash with the product configuration.
Once groups and products are enabled, the account-creation flow in the Web UI shows the group options at Step 1, and each new master or investment account is provisioned in the MT group the client picked.
In standalone deployments the equivalent per-product options (currencies, MT group names, leverages) live under Settings → Product Settings in this Admin panel — see Product settings and currencies.
